Hello, I’m Sydney!

I originally connected with photography as an extension of movement and expression. My educational and artistic background is in dance, which led me to begin photographing bodies juxtaposed with unique spaces, performance art, and studies of creative movement both in front of and behind the camera. As I further pursued dance and eventually became an educator, photography as a profession followed due to my understanding of dance aesthetics and human form.
